Gian Manzon, Staff Reporter
Sophomore Gian Manzon was born and raised in his hometown of Happy Valley, Oregon. His favorite thing about the city is the greenery and community events.
He attended Christ the King for elementary and middle school and was drawn to La Salle because of his brother’s attendance and to be with friends.
His favorite class is Honors English II. Gian is a swimmer for La Salle, and this his first semester in Journalism.
Outside of La Salle, Gian enjoys playing basketball, playing piano, and going places with friends. His other interests include cars, food, and traveling.
Gian is an avid traveler, going to countries like the Philippines, Japan, Germany, and the United Kingdom. He wishes to eventually visit South Korea or Indonesia next.
His biggest recent accomplishment is becoming a district champion in the 50-yard freestyle, and is interested in a future career in dentistry.
