Sophomore Elena Rodriguez has always lived in Oregon. She doesn’t travel much, but dreams of visiting places with a lot of history, such as Greece.
She moved to Oregon City from Portland two years ago while attending a Spanish immersion school in Beaverton. Although she went to a Spanish immersion school and speaks Spanish fluently, she has become very fond of her German class, as she decided to try the new language freshman year and hasn’t regretted it.
In addition to writing for The Falconer, Elena participates in crew for La Salle’s theater productions, choir, and multiple clubs.
Elena made the choice to join the theater crew after watching the fall play “Steel Magnolias” freshman year. She made many friends when partaking in the winter production, which encouraged her to join choir and clubs.
Outside of school, she enjoys drawing, reading, sleeping, hanging out with friends and family, and watching shows and movies.
