La Salle’s girls flag football team convincingly defeated the Clackamas Cavaliers 25-0 at home on Wednesday, April 9. The Falcons constantly pressured the Cavaliers with runs and played a very physical game, even leading to a rough bumping of heads between a La salle running back and a Clackamas cornerback. They had multiple interceptions, furthering the lead, with junior McKenna Morgan scoring a pick-6.
Senior Lindsey Kapanoske said that she is feeling “fantastic” about the season, hoping to continue the team’s 2-0 win streak.
The Falcons also won 45-7 against Parkrose High School in the last of the two matches on Wednesday, April 9.

These games are so exciting! There is so much team spirit and camaraderie it belies how long these players have been playing together. I can’t believe it is their first season as a team. I encourage everyone to go out and support this team- you will not be disappointed!
