This year for spring break, Falcons are looking forward to some time off — a break before the last couple of months of school — and plan on spending their time with family and friends over the course of next week.
Student plans vary from traveling for vacation to just staying home and relaxing. Whatever the case, this year’s spring break is highly anticipated for students eager for the reset time away from school.
Sophomore Brinley Rydquist explained she will be visiting Seattle and that she loves to do so because it is “a big city,” she said. “There’s a lot of people, and there’s a lot of stuff to do.”
Some students have various traditions they like to do each year during spring break. “Our special tradition is going to Palm Springs and then usually we just go to dinner every night with my family,” sophomore Lauren Miller said.
And as for the break itself, senior Lilah Ruud says she enjoys this time because “it’s a nice time to relax and visit a new place that you’ve never gone before or haven’t been to in a while, and it’s also just a nice break from school.”
