The La Salle varsity girls soccer team took on Rex Putnam High School on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at 7 p.m.
The Falcons attempted many shots toward the start of the game, but fell behind early on due to a goal scored by Rex Putnam High School on a corner kick. They kicked off the second half with energy and, with a late goal by freshman Emily Hoesly, the Falcons were able to tie a hard-fought game.
La Salle’s hard work played a key role in earning another solid result, as they find themselves ranked #9 in 5A.
The Falcons will continue the final stretch of the regular season with three more games against Wilsonville High School, Centennial High School, and Parkrose High School.
