On Saturday, May 22, the cast and crew of the spring musical, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee,” performed its second showing in the cafeteria courtyard. Audience members were seated on chairs and benches, at tables, and on the grass with blankets spaced several feet apart.
When talking about the show, senior Grace Winningham, who plays Olive Ostrovsky, said “it’s a little different every night and everyone brings such great energy.”
“I feel really grateful to know and work with all of them,” Winningham said. “But every night definitely feels a little bittersweet knowing this will be my last high school production.”
Showtimes for the rest of the productions are at 7 p.m on May 28 and 29, and at 2:30 p.m on May 30. Tickets can be purchased on the La Salle Prep Theater website.
