Taylor Swift is backlit on stage during her concert at the Bryce Jordan Center on Saturday, Aug. 29, one of many stops on her Fearless Tour 2009, which is promoting the 19-year-old singer/songwriter’s recent album, also entitled ‘Fearless.’ The show sold out in a mere 20 minutes according to Bryce Jordan Center Director of Sales and Marketing Bernie Punt, making it the fastest sellout in the venue’s history.

From growing up as a small, country girl in Reading, PA to becoming a leading contemporary recording artist, Taylor Swift has been very successful in her career. In addition, she has been able to seamlessly switch over her genre of music from country to pop. Along with many other recording artists, Taylor Swift has faced some struggles in her career, but through it all, she has shown that she is able to “shake it off” — both the people and the things that try to bring her down.
