La Salle Students and Staff Look Forward to Summer
June 3, 2016
With summer just days away, students and teachers, as we all know, are eagerly anticipating their summer plans. For those of you wondering what others are doing for their break, the Falconer interviewed several students and teachers to see exactly what everyone is doing.
Freshmen:
Ellie Low is going to Shasta, California and is excited to go down there because of the many childhood memories it brings since her family used to go down there every year when she was growing up. She says, “I am excited to spend time with my family as well as go boating everyday and doing my favorite thing which is wakeboarding!”
Mitchell Rask is planning on taking many trips out of state to visit family and see new places. He says, “I’m going to Florida in June for a month and then from there go to the country Trinidad and then Tobago for a few weeks. Then in July I’m going to Hawaii for a week or so, and then maybe France if my dad doesn’t have to work in August.”
Nicole Khoury is planning on mostly staying home, hanging out with her friends, going to local pools or rivers, spending time with her family, and participating in some camps and classes at La Salle over the summer. She says, “I’m also looking forward to a family trip to San Diego!”
Jake Bunker is planning on going to Sun River in Bend, Oregon. He says, “I am most excited about not going to school.”

He will first stop at Hawaii before going on to visit Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam. He says, “I will be taking my first steps into traveling the world. Even though I’ve been out of America, this will be the first time I will leave the continent.”
